I like to consider myself a little strange but a good strange. I was born in Edmonton, Alberta but currently reside in Toronto, ON so I know a few things about the cold, snow and rain.

Now that the formalities are out of the way...
It wasn't always my dream to work in movies, I actually wanted to be a veterinarian! But that changed quickly after my first trip to the movie theatre and watching the stop motion animated movie, Chicken Run. I knew I wanted to work in the entertainment industry, firmly film and even more firmly as a 3D animator. However, that then too changed when I watch the 2010 film The Sorcerer's Apprentice (yup, not Star Wars, Jurassic Park or The Matrix though they are fantastic and I constantly have their "making of" videos on repeat). Though not a visual spectacle compared to other films, I genuinely liked the visual effects in the film and was amazed at how well done they were and how it fit the story and the timing of the music. From then I knew Visual Effects was going to be another aspect of entertainment industry I wanted to get into.
To put my dreams into action, I studied at various schools such as Sheridan College for Art, The Vancouver Film School for Visual Effects and Durham College for Animation.
From then on, I have continued to sharpen my skills, gained more knowledge and passion for the industry and chewed bubble gum but now I am all out of bubble gum.
